Before ads can be served on your site, you will need to add the ads.txt file so that buyers can crawl it and validate your site.
This can be done in three easy steps.
Step 1: Install Plugin
There are several plugins that can be used, but we recommend using the “Ad Inserter – Ad Manager & AdSense Ads” plugin.

Step 2: Access the Plugin
Once the “Ad Inserter” plugin is installed and activated, click the “Settings” option.
You can also access the plugin under the “Settings” menu of your WordPress sidebar.
Step 3: Add the Ads.Txt File
In the Ad Inserter plugin, click on the Ads.txt image and then paste the ads.txt lines in the available space. Click the green checkmark to save.
Please note: These instructions are for adding ads.txt to WordPress. If your site is not on WordPress, you will need to add the ads.txt lines to the root domain of your site (i.e. yoursite.com/ads.txt)
